Good morning folks. Happy Easter. Heading out for a run, then to church.

It’s a beautiful morning in the east. We’re supposed to get some rain later.

Both final four games went against my wishes. Go Michigan on Monday. Reds’ pitching has been strong early. And that’s without the two guys who were supposed to anchor the staff in Greene and Lodolo. We’ll see if it can last.

I hope you all have a good day.
Lodolo has been pushed back for a bit again on getting a start because in rehab another blister formed on his pitching hand/finger. Don't really know what finger it is, they said which one yesterday but I forgot. Too lazy to look it up.

Morning D-Legionnaires!

46° this morning with light winds. Today's high to be in the mid to high 60's.

BatCats and the Reds won yesterday/last night so it was a good day for me. Will be flip flopping back and forth today when both play their last game of their series. UK vs Missou and the Reds vs the Rangers around noon CDT. Cats at 12:00 and the Reds 13:35 or so. Cats split the first 2 with Missou but the Reds won both so the series is theirs, but it would be nice to sweep.

The final four is/was dead to me without UK. However, I hope Michigan wins the title to keep UConn from winning their 7th.

You folks have a restful day and God Bless.

@BBUK Are you trying to be a jerk, man? No wait...I mean jerk man. Because I too eat a lot of jerky but need the softer stuff because the long storage type is usually too hard.

Oh you only "seen" the half of it.

For some reason and I do not know why, this stuff is heavenly and tough BUT, not too tough. Just amazes me what My Darling is able to attain "cooking".... Just other worldly and I am the "umble" recipient of.........GREATNESS!

Hello all,

What a service this morning. I am not slowing down yet but maybe after tomorrow... We shall see and in any scenario, I am thankful!!!

Have a Christ Blessed Easter Sunday!

I do not claim to be a Michigan fan any longer but I AM a Michigander... Whip Uconn if for ONLY that reason!

I really need the Cats back in the hunt.... They are all I have sports-wise any longer....

Happy Easter to the D! What a great service we had this morning, we had about 60 today, that's a good crowd for us. We were looking for a Preacher and GOD sure sent us one!!! I'm 74 and 10/12th years old, I have never set under a pastor that explains the scriptures like Bro.Coty does! He makes me want to dig deeper and study more!!

Cold in the Berg this morning, 36 outside and 64 inside, had to turn the heat back on! I finally convinced myself to get out and do a little bit of metal detecting Thursday, found 35 pennies, 2 quarters and 7 dimes, two of the dimes were beauties, Mercury dimes, one was a 1928, the other was 1936, when I cleaned the dirt off, they looked like the day they were lost, bright and shiny, just everyday wear. I thought, one is 98 years old and the other is 90 years old!! After those finds I just owe $592.65, shouldn't take me but another 10-12 years to pay myself back for the detectors!😂😂😂😂😂 If you get a chance try to find the video of the Kentucky Hoard, worth watching, that's why I metal detect!!!

BatCats lose again and lose the series. The reds on the other hand took three from the Rangers in Texas.
Reds now 6-3. Good start so far.
UK doesn't have a Sunday starter. Net, for rest of SEC season, I say they split the first two games of each series & lose all Sunday games for 6-12 the rest of the way.

Reds have a good staff but can't afford to lose anymore P's. I now don't expect much from Lodolo & his repeated blisters, & anything at all from Greene would be any unexpected plus. Team BA is .209 (23/30) & are tied for lowest runs total.

Sir, I got a metal detector back in January. The BB and I tried it out around here a couple times but I have just been so engaged I cannot do like I had planned. Me and the BB enjoy and are looking forward to combing the beaches this summer. We will hit the parks as well when we can. I metal detected some when I was young but the urge never left.

Hello all,

Just finished up my appointment.. We shall see... where this leads, my gut tells me it went well but dealing with the gubbernment I pull back my gut feelings as I see too many that just don't care... (I will stop.)

Anyway, getting ready to leave around one with My Darling for her procedure in Reston, VA.

In any event, I am thankful...

Strap this day on your back(s) and drag it with you... You can do it!!!

Yeah, fortunately so far relievers are doing a pretty good job. Not sure it will last but...

Hello all,

My Darling seems to be doing better after her procedure. We think she is still going to have to have surgery but this should relieve her pain for six months or so to give us better time to ensure what she has to have done is by the best we can find. I am thankful...

Rest peacefully....

Morning D-Legionnaires!

48° this morning with light winds. Low 70's for a high expected.

Yep, Reds still hanging in there with pitching. According to last night's announcers, Reds are 2nd to last in MLB in total runs scored so, that means good pitching needs to continue along with good defense. 7-3 so far.

Glad to see UConn go down. Have to keep them from catching us because I don't see us putting anything together thus far to put us in position to win another one. Not going to pay much attention to the movements going on now with the portal because it is too soon (for me) to get excited.

Normal monster walk, workout, and then grocery shopping on tap for the morning followed by some napping and maybe watch a movie in the afternoon.

You folks going to work be careful out there and God Bless the D-League.

Morning D-Legionnaires!

Mid 40's this morning with light winds and will not warm up until later. Low 70's again by the afternoon. Want to go fishing but will wait until my mornings are a little warmer.

BatCats took out UL 4-2 last night. Just wish they could do better when they play SEC teams. We seem to do well outside of the SEC, get ranked as we were earlier in the year and then lose more series to SEC teams than we should. We have lost 3 out of 4 series we have played in the SEC and all of the teams we have played were either not ranked (all but one) or ranked lower than us (Ole Miss) when we played them. Need to change this in order to be taken seriously.

Reds beat the Marlins for the second night in a row (6-3) coming from behind in the top of the 9th taking the game to the 10th. 2-2 until the Reds scored 4 in the extra inning to take the lead. Marlins made a couple of bonehead plays to give it to the Reds. I'll take it.

Happy hump day folks, and God Bless the D-League.

^ Don't recall ever seeing a lead from 3B as big as EDLC had last night in the 9th. 3B-man was playing almost on grass to stop a hit. Seemed EDLC was near halfway to home & could have stole it. But the WP made that unnecessary.

Zero runs till one out in 9th. Just hard to believe they can keep going like that. I guess I just need to enjoy what I have now.

Hello all,

Been hard at it today in a different capacity, well, not really but was taking care of one of my daughters house. I was cutting, weed-eating and edging... Taking a pill shortly but all good. I am thankful... Hard at it again in another direction shortly.

Hope your day today was profitable for you all...

Oh, did I fail to mention My Darling had a fender-bender.... Ouch...Ouch, ouch!!!

Good morning folks.

Chilly in the east. Last day on the subway downtown this week.

Collin Chandler leaving surprised me a bit. He’s the first transfer who one could argue had a role on a winning team. He couldn’t really defend anybody but he was coming around as a clutch shooter. I hope it means he was told Kentucky is signing better players and he wasn’t guaranteed a starters role. We’ll see soon.

My wife heading for NYC on the train. Being with family at the passing of her favorite aunt.

You all have a great day.

Morning D-Legionnaires!

58° with light winds this morning and a high today in the low to mid 70's expected.

Busy day today with monster walk (shortly), workout, clean house this morning (normal house cleaning days are Monday and Friday), watching Reds game at 11:45 until finished (Reds lead series 2-1 of the 4-game series), and then cutting the grass afterwards. All because I am going fishing tomorrow morning. Do not know about you folks but when I go fishing, I am physically and mentally tired after so, house and grass cutting needs to get done today.

You good people try to enjoy your day if your working today and God Bless.
