Did they rule on Trump's EO that allowed the military service men and women who were discharged because they didn't get their covid shot.

That took 3 years for them to get reinstated and receive their back pay. Who's waiting around for that to play basketball or football.
We will see!

I can't recall who's said it but I like the idea of having players sign a multi-year deals and if they want to enter the portal before that deal ends, the school they go to has to pay a buyout to the school loosing the player.

Also, there has to be transparency. Deals have to be public.

The first part I can see happening...already court cases going on that will determine that.

Transparency? That I don't see happening.

If the athletes private contracts with private companies was to somehow become something that was forced to be revealed...than every private in every aspect of life and business would have to fall under the same rules.

Is the geek getting 400k from the school to underwrite his private venture?
Do u of Iowa research assistants get a piece of ultimate revenues from new patented medications they have helped develop?

If a football player from Iowa put on a semi- pro uni like CR lions, would his services be worth a fraction of what they get at Iowa?

Fans pay the bills. Fans support their school.
The uniform bring value to the players.

If the geek's ap brings value to the consumer they will support it, no matter what school the geek studied at..
School already got a benefit with the revenue and play of the player.

it’s a loser in court.

if the car dealers says it wasn’t because of his play what you gonna do? What you gonna do when the player gets paid before playing a single game?

if he is transferring for a payday obviously it’s for what he will do. Not what he is doing for current school.

It’s a loser in court. All day. Because it opens up every endorsement deal to anybody doing anything to new litigation.

I'm willing to admit I'm wrong if you show me the new rule. I haven't seen one other than the ghost transfer rule and haven't found anything searching online. This EO isn't a rule and the NCAA hasn't approved anything that I'm aware of.
Omg actually read the articles and what the conference leadership is saying and planing to do with the backing of the EO.

Also actually read the EO and it's 10-12 actions. Congress also plans to pass legislation on this subject.

Will agents and players sue? Hell yes they will. But how can you sue someone to make them hire you?

This boils down to if all the schools follow the one transfer only and within 5 years that they say they want. What happens if not all schools follow the game plan? The government starts holding funds from the school. Will the presidents and boards let the coach and players break the one transfer in 5 years? Who knows, but if they do then they deserve all the chaos they say they hate and ruining college sports.

And no I'm note posting links. Do your own research there are a dozens or more with the EO, NCAA leadership, ADs, coaches and conference president opinions.
