Averaged 19 ppg and shot around 39% from 3. 3rd team all Big10. Not sure that's worthy if 4 million or not. He's also testing NBA draft.
Kids aren’t stupid. $4 million is a deal breaker.
Wisconsin was 24-11 in a loaded Big 10. I think that is probably worth it.

If you arr offering Stokes $7M, give this kid $4M, another portal stud $3M and pull Stokes offer. The spend the rest of your budget building around those two instead of Stokes. And better off for it
These are the kind of swings we need to take this off season. No more overpaying for 5th or 6th guys on good teams. Pay for the best of the best and fill the gaps of your roster with good defenders and shooters and call it a day.

If he is valued at $4M, there will be atleast 5 other schools that will be offering $4M, then it becomes a recruiting situation. We know how that goes around here. We should never think that any school can just go and outbid for any player they want. There are a ton of DEEP POCKET schools looking for players.
$4 million is First Round NBA draft money.
We need one more legit go to guy but those two plus a great PG would even have me interested in next year. I don’t expect it to happen though.

This guy is probably with no more than 2M. Skeptical of someone who couldn't lead their team over High Point. Good player, though, makes sense that our dunce in charge would need 4M ish to land him.

Completely agree. It's not that I don't want Stokes, but there are a ton of risks with throwing that much money to one player.
If UK got Blackwell, I would think they would be getting him to be a point guard. He’s listed as a combo guard and played a lot of point guard. Not sure if we could end up getting Blackwell and pay big for another point guard.
Personally, I’d take this kid and one more really good portal player and tell Stokes to go on about his business.
UK was out on Stokes last fall along with Christian Collins. Self announcing he was coming back sealed the deal for KU.
