Why don't we just offer Jax 15 million a year he will come to Iowa for 15 million probably could get a couple for that number
Man that’s a truly genius idea if I ever heard of one.

what good is a freshman title over any other title if you never repeat? Would you rather your team win the title and you come in second, or you win the title and your team come in second? I vividly remember McGinness telling me that his title was somber in a way because Lincoln lost that year.Sure why not, TnT have a rich history of true freshman national champs. The list: Spencer lee... And that's the the list. *Two redshirt freshman champs, one actual and one super redshirt who was technically a RS sophomore I believe thanks to a lost year of eligibility because Vs Tech were jilted lovers. Hard to argue with you given that track record.
In fairness, I can only think of one true freshman national champ for cael as well, Mark Hall. Which, if true means David Taylor just had more true freshman national champs in one year than TnT and Cael combined in their careers....That's a wild and concerning stat for the rest of college wrestling outside of Stillwater..PSU included.
I'm not sure what you're actually asking here? I wasn't saying anything about inherent value of a true freshman title vs others. I'd bet most true freshman title winners win another, at minimum. As far as team titles, unless you wrestle for a very small # of programs I doubt a team title is ever a realistic thought in your head.what good is a freshman title over any other title if you never repeat? Willie paints with a broad brush. A few posters spouting minority (and silly) opinions become "the board" in his view.Cmon man its not 'this board' its like 3 guys on here
As someone who saw him in practice at Iowa on multiple occasions, he wasn't close to being a contributor or in the 2-deeps. Multiple injuries and extended time away from the sport will not get him any closer. It's clearly not my decision to make, but wrestling is absolutely his path.Is Keuter really going to try and play football again? Iowa has a slew of young linebackers in the pipeline who are light years ahead of him now. He'd be an undersized DE if he wanted to go that direction and would simply be a depth piece at either LB or DE. In my opinion he should just heal up, put on 10-15 more lbs, and try to win a natty at heavyweight in his final two years of eligibility.
Are teams more hesitant/unable to offer that can’t turn down immediately sign money, are wrestlers being more hesitant, or was there just less back alley deals being ironed out at ncaas?

Apparently never watched Kung Fu. Not many pebble grabbers here.Patience is not a virtue for many in the cesspool.
AND the money is different starting this cycle. With all NIL contracts over $600 having to go through the clearinghouse moving forward, it's a lot harder to just throw cash at guys. The portal isn't going to be as exciting as the past few years. There aren't 5th, 6th, and even 7th year guys looking for a new home and in turn there aren't those same guys blocking younger recruits that don't want to wait for them to get out of the way.
