How did you determine the 65% probability of a Mallegni transfer?
Thought this was gonna be "reality sets in" in terms of Iowa not landing jack sh** in the transfer portal because no one actually wants to see Iowa competing atop women's college basketball, and merely had to bite their tongues and bide their time during the CC era................
We will see. Granted ain't getting a full roster, snd i suspect a senior/graduate or two to round out the roster. Depending on Teagan, need about 5 or 6 to even get to 11 or 12. Maybe can get some that sre current teammates to get there.
I don’t have a transfer possibily calculation for Mallegni. Everything I’ve read about her future plans so far is almost entirely conjecture. That’s why I was curious about your assignment of a 65% transfer probability.

The only players I really care about keeping today are Ava, CCW, Strem, and Journey. The rest are simply filler or have already definitively declared either way.
The advantage of having your name out there is that your agent can evaluate suitors and their possible interest. Interested schools will also have more time to evaluate you before the portal opens.
I hope she stays but wouldn’t blame her one bit if she leaves. She’s going to be behind Journey at the 4 and Strem at the 3. She will be behind MW as well at either the 3 or 4, wherever Jan ends up playing her. And that’s before adding anyone from the portal.
It's the wild west with rules seemingly changing every week, but I thought there was a " no contact" period until the portal opened. If there's little to be gained by waiting then maybe ER hasn't decided to leave. Just my dumb speculations.
If a player declares for the portal and has a agent then they ,the agent can negotiate for the player.
