You dominated the field right up until the final! Great run!! Come back harder next year with Chloe, Swatkins, Jerzy, Gotti, and Tessa! And get a big ole nasty Center from the portal!!

Yes a great season - didn`t think anyone could beat us like that but UCLA obviously is an outstanding team, unfortunately. Glad they are losing a lot.

UCLA winning was a fluke. Mainly Transfers and portal players. They’re not even “way too early” ranked for next season. UCLA won’t be sniffing another natty anytime soon. Meanwhile, our team is loaded again! Speaks to Dawn’s consistency

They did have Betts though. She was a transfer, but this was her 3td Year there. Reminds of when we won the Natty with Cardoso.

Yes, consistently choking and getting boat raced in the games that matter. She can recruit, she can't coach.

Maybe next year she'll figure out how to only lose by 20.

Again: You cannot be talented enough to dominate in the regular season, make it to the championship game in back to back years.....and then when you get obliterated, TWICE, claim it's a "matchup" or "talent" problem. It isn't. It's a coaching problem. It is what it is. I'm right.

Spin it however you want. Dawn cannot coach. I know you're going to continue to "rah-rah" and sunshine pump. You accept failure. I do not.

You are only focusing on the losses instead of the wins. We have been to 5 Finals. We won 3, lost 2. A .600 winning % on that level of competition is pretty great. Yes, we lost in routs in the last 2. However, who cares how you lost at the end of the day. Actually, it's easier for me to accept losing in routs. That way you feel the other team was better than you and they kicked your butt. I question coaching the way the Duke Men lose every year. Every year they get far, have a game in the bag, and find a way to lose it.

As I've said before, I think this season might have been Dawn's best coaching job. At the beginning of the season, I did not think we had the personnel to get back to the national title game. I didn't even think we had the personnel to win the SEC. She got a lot out of them.

Having said that, this is three championship games in one year (the last two NCAA title games, and this year's SEC tournament title game) in which we looked absolutely lost. I hope Dawn can figure out what's causing that disturbing pattern and fix it.

Great job ladies. I think a lot of us looked at the start of the season and figured this year wouldn't be our year. This team didn't seem to have "it." After the UCONN game we probably all felt that they put enough of it together to win the title. Oh well None of the other teams in the NCAA got this close to winning a title. Moving on to next year.

There was definitely some helter skelter in this team. Not sure why with the senior leadership they had. They had some games where they just didn't look laser focused and the defense let them down (Oklahoma, Texas the third time and today). I did not see them as a Final 4 team at the start of the season so all in all, not a bad job.

Disappointed we didn't play better but if we had to lose, glad it was to UCLA. As the season played out, I really thought with the injuries and differernt lineups, the ceiling was probably the final 4. Now, we wait to see if Madina gets another year and who we lose and gain from the portal. I hope Madina gets another year for her benefit and ours but not counting on it. Dawn said in her presser, she will look to add guards and athletic players. She said front court was good. We need a PG and a good one.

Yes, congrats to Dawn and the team on a great season. That was a tough game to watch and I had a bad feeling about it in the 1st quarter. Oh well, it's time to look ahead to out next final 4.

I think TWO things, in one scenario The loss to UCLA and Texas were similar in that, Both were games after beating a Hated Rival!! And second case, the Loss of Kitts early i thought would keep them out of final four, They made it to championship in both the SEC and NCAA tourneys!! So without one of your top two or three players entering the season, It was a pretty masterful coaching job, with a couple possible exceptions!!

A masterful takedown of a top rival is often followed by a letdown game like yesterday's game. Left a lot on the court after that game.

Has anyone heard anything about Addie Deal coming here (she's in the portal from Iowa)?
Think that was rumor someone started. Reading their message board, not sure she would be a fit if what they are saying is correct. She was recruited by prior coach to be in a Clark type offense with a guard oriented scheme. Current coach goes more post dominant. Haven't watch Iowa this year but they don't seem all that disappointed she's leaving. Also seems her parents are very involved demanding more playing time when she hasn't performed well consistently with her opportunities.
