Yeah man, I could find a way to live with Tanner and Okorie as our backcourt. We had Perry and Jasper playing minutes the last couple of years lol. Come onNothing sad about it. He is the same size as Duke Miles who played off-point with Tanner. Byington can easily draw up the same offense using two (2) quick ball-handling guards who can shoot it.
Ulis and Briscoe, both point guards, co-existed pretty well for us back in the day.
I don’t think you’re understanding the stat very well if you think their minutes affect it like that. It’s normalized on a per 100 possessions scale, so while Okorie’s number might be more stable due to the larger sample size, him playing more minutes doesn’t somehow make his rating better.Jasper played 12 minutes a game versus Ebuka playing 35 minutes these are not even CLOSE to comparable
The PER 40 averages are:I don’t think you’re understanding the stat very well if you think their minutes affect it like that. Doesn’t Duke already have 3 point guards for next season? I know they have Rippey and little Boozer .A WAY better version of Jaland Lowe, but those other numbers would have to improve with the offense Pope wants to run!
Duke, Purdue, and Arizona will be major players here, possibly BYU as well!
I someone really comparing these two guys?! NO COMPARISON!The PER 40 averages are:
Okorie 26.2
Johnson 16.5

Okorie is definitely the much better overall player. My post was specifically talking about his defensive rating, which is not the same thing. The PER 40 averages are:

I was not questioning you ... simply sharing PER 40 stars for people to consider in their comparisons. Although not the ultimate or sole metric, but I think the PER 40 is useful to consider.Okorie is definitely the much better overall player. My post was specifically talking about his defensive rating, which is not the same thing.
They do brother plus they play different position that’s your sample sizeI don’t think you’re understanding the stat very well if you think their minutes affect it like that. EAD you are the biggest troll on hereYou say that about everyone we are interested in. Go back to the Arkansas board.
Got the info from a former player & Stanford Grad. STANFORD has # 12 rated recruiting class in 2026 with 5 four stars all rated in top 150 including Hakeem Olajuwon‘s son.3 of the recruits are guards & they are still in the mix for a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 2 other 4 stars. Stanford doesn’t do a lot of Portal shopping except for academic qualified kids from the “brain” schools - IVY LEAGUE etc.
Any other year Okorie would go Pro .
Yeah but he plays better competition every night.Extremely similar to who were likely going to get:
Daeshun Ruffin
- PTS
23.3
4th- REB
2.8
150+- AST
5.3
44th- FG%
42.6
150+
Sure thing pards. A troll. lol. I have been on these boards since whenever they started. Just continue to show your ignorance. You are good at it.Thank you mega
EAD you are the biggest troll on here
Wow that is bad.He is a terrible defender 117 defense rating
EDIT 120.5 defensive rating which is 7th worse as a true point guard ranking
Yeah throw the money at him and Bidunga and then we can talk about a good foundation for next year. This is the ONE you throw the back at! STUD!
Post emRumors are picking up steam

Another kid that adds UK to the list to bump up his NIL money, he has no intention on coming to UK, instead of a hat on the table it’s a pile of money that he chooses, but not the biggest pile that UK offers, it will be significantly less for a school that has a coach who makes him better.Hearing we have a decent shot
Doesn’t Duke already have 3 point guards for next season? I know they have Rippey and little Boozer .
No he hasn’t enteredWhere has anyone confirmed this… I know this is likely to happened but it hasn’t officially happened yet has it?
Defense does look quite atrocious lol however, he can definitely improve there. Hes elite on the offensive end. Can get to the basket at will.Okorie is definitely the much better overall player. My post was specifically talking about his defensive rating, which is not the same thing.
Well ****!No he hasn’t entered
