I see the usual chicken little are already out.
would you rather go 4-4 at the beginning of the season or 4-4 at the end of the season when we are 2 games out of the playoffs? We are starting the season against Pitt/St.L/SF - we should not be 4-4

Nobody is gonna remember what the Mets record was after eight games at the beginning of the season.
Or what th Yankees record was after eight games.

So- you missed last year??? I always find fans of any sport that discount wins and losses based on what part of the season it is- to just be pretty darn dumb. You play a finite number of games.

This thinking in baseball is ridiculous. It's not football. We won a series and lost a series. One up in the air. We don't even know how SF will end up or St Louis. Some of the bats are a bit cold to begin the year which happens especially with Lindor. Some are hot. We started the season last year on fire and fizzled out. The year we before the exact opposite and went to the NLCS.

You literally can't tell a thing in 8 games in baseball. You should know better but I think your Stearns hate is getting in the way.

Btw- my comments are not booing- I hope Stearns is successful and not only proves me wrong but gets me on his side. But last year was on him with a horrific trade deadline. This year- as I even said earlier is a show me year.

mans love the game pitched by Holmes.
And I do believe Bichette will be tge back of his BB card. But he is perfect proof of what Stearns sits on my bad side- the guy gives nothing but BS to the fans. Just does not come across as a transparent upfront type of guy.

Can't trust Stearns, which makes it somewhat difficult to watch this team. I have no issue with players, but my hate for him is greater than Eppler. My fury for the liar clouds my judgement of the team.

Good series win !
Arizona and the A’s are eh teams but looks like Mets are getting top of the Dbaks rotation. They will also have to face our 2 Aces while struggling to score runs( 6 of 9 games scoring 2 or less)

The overall team D has been much better so far as well. Bichette right now has been the sore spot but by June I'm confident it's going to be a lot better there. 1B rotation D has been so much better especially with range towards 2B.
