If nothing else this verifies for me that it’s tournament or bust for Pike… no gray area

have a season like Indiana seton hall Stanford West Virginia
Auburn or Oklahoma had or see ya later

I think firmly on the bubble is the expectation. 17-15 doesn't put him there.
If the field expands to 76 it absolutely will

8 more at larges… auburn and Oklahoma and West Virginia had 15 losses and were in the mix

Several 14 loss teams made it so stands to reason 15 losses with 8 added team would make it

Think schools like RU "should" like this in theory. Will put in us in the bubble convos a lot more frequently if we can get to the that even lower middle of the B1G.

Having said that...gross!

Conference aqs shouldnt have to play in

At larges should play in Seeding is totally seperate from making the field

However the at larges shouldnt be seeded 18th and penalize top seeds in next round..very bizarre suggestions

I'm not sure you understand how tournaments work......

Correct, seeding is totally separate from making the field.
For example, being an AQ gets you into the field. But it doesnt guarantee you a particular seed.

However, seeding 100% determines the games you play.

Lower seeds play more games
That's kinda the foundation of a tournament.

You can't have it both ways:
  • Worst teams are the lowest seeds
  • Middle seed teams play more games
If you dont want AQ to play more games - then seed them higher.
If you dont want to penalize the higher seeds then put the worst teams as the lowest seeds.

I have the idea..I know it is all about eyeballs and money but I always thought this was the best tournament out there and now it gets watered down (great for schools like Rutgers but it’s not the same)

I always thought CFP had to be 16 teams to match the elements of the bball tourney and would be the only change I would make in NCAAs

It works fine

The worst seeds play and the worst at larges play

The worst at large are seededly correctly and are given lifelines to make tge tourney
