We look deeply unserious here not even retaining this kid for his sophomore year and that’s the bottom line. Cut down to 4 OOC games at the rock last year, next year how many? Felt tried to slip a renew season tix reminder in my email before the announcement. Nice try lol.
Competitive with what’s now known as the mid major Big East…. We aren’t competitive with the Big 4 conferences anymore. Maybe we beat DePaul and Butler for a player here and there. But that’s about it.

Yeah sure…piece of cake. Sorry but that opinion is laughable. Lots of teams take a chance with projects like Mbaye. Every now and then they succeed. Far far more often they do not. If you’ve been watching plenty of hoops you should have been noticing that it ain’t anywhere as simple to just stand there and catch the ball and dunk it. It isn’t even worth trying to explain how epically silly that statement is.

However this post is funny to me since you used too instead of to right after calling out proper English. I’m not one to call out anyone’s use of the English language because I’m sure I’m terrible at it, but it’s funny when people call it out and screw it up the next chance they get.
I hope for the school’s sake an SEC team (keep an eye on LSU, Will Wade wanted him last year good call as @dehere23 mentioned recently) because it is a NIGHTMARE if he goes to St. Johns, and after the Kadary rumors came into fruition I’m more than nervous about that happening.
Maybe Sha the one without loyalty. High-ranking recruit takes a chance and stays local despite team winning 7 games the prior season. Proves himself—and more. And then (no doubt, because it’s Sha’s MO) gets only a low-ball offer.
So..... if I can read into your comments......you are saying that there is a conspiracy among Big East Coaches and those other coaches who voted him ECAC Coach of the year that would get Sha retained and rewarded at SHU and therefore hurt our chances in the future...... think about it.... that's what you are saying. THAT's what the joke is.
Nonsense! To really be competitive and make the dance we need 15mil. That would give Sha the money to build a team of studs. That is what is needed. 8-10 mil only buys treading water and medocrity. You want to really build a truly winning program you have to think much bigger than what is going on now.
Watch a video of him in high school. Readily available. See him play center and what he did and can do. Granted it is a step up in the BE but if all you ask of him is what he did in HS it would be plenty good teamed up with 4 starters who were studs.

The way they talk about Sha in private and public is very different..I’ll leave it at that
talking with my friend who split tickets last year. Depending on how things shake out we might switch to women's games... 2 moms need to still get out, but don't want to spend the money to learn the players year after year
Seton hall can afford to lose the Simpkins and Williams to the portal, not Hines and Clark. Very disappointing. Hines had huge upside.
The women's team loses lots of players too.
