There should be zero Pope supports rn. If that realism makes me negative so be it.
We might as well prepare ourselves to fall out of that #2 spot in titles. We are almost certain to fall to #3 at this rate and there’s a good chance we are #4 within another decade. Barnhart has absolutely killed any momentum with the basketball program since he’s been AD. Only one title in his 25+ year run is pathetic. It all comes down to him making bad decisions picking coaches and then being a sackless coward when he needs to fire them.
At this point in time, looking at just hte players that can return and haven't declared for the portal yet, and the fact that have whiffed on every HS recruit so far, except for the 109th player, how could anyone be anything be negative? Not that I am besmirching that HS player for where he is at. I forget who it is, but I recently heard some player projected to be high first rounder and he was not in the Top 150 out of HS. Those are few and far between though.
Barring pope getting every single top player in the transfer portal, what option is there for next year? We literally have no recruits. It’s going to be a bridge year to find a new coach.
