Dawn was asked about Jersey Robinson in her press conference since Jersey was at the game. According to NCAA rules Dawn cannot comment on a recruit until they have officially been admitted to school and has signed the scholarship paperwork. Looking behind the USC bench I thought I saw Jersey Robinson but not 100% sure. Getting Jersey along with Chloe Kitts returning along with Ashlyn Watkins and the two other recruits we will be really good again especially if the NCAA grants Madima Okot another year. Have to wait and see how things play out. The one thing I will say about Chloe is that she got hurt she has never missed a practice, always been with the team. Chloe one day after her playing days are over will make an exceptional women's basketball coach. I really want to win the National Championship game Sunday. Dawn Staley will go down as the greatest women's basketball coach at South Carolina. Just think Alabama tried to get her before she decided to come to USC. What a job Eric Hyman did in getting a generational coach. These coaches come around only so often.

That is what I have heard through reports from her family. Anything can happen especially in today's society. I hope she comes back but if she decides to move on, we will be ok. Just ask Malaysia Fulwiley as she was probably at home or in her dorm room watching the game thinking what in the world have I done by leaving South Carolina. South Carolina did not miss her at all. Only time will tell.

Hyman got panned a lot because he started the move toward seat licenses and seat assignments tied to donor level. It was harsh, but both necessary and equitable in the long term. We were already behind the curve in the SEC in doing this. Up to now, he is the best AD we've had in my lifetime. The current one will have to prove his mettle, although he fits the modern template for ADs.
The best would seem to be Hyman 1 and Maybe Mike McGee 2 though he pissed Eddie Fogler off.

I'd give Hyman the edge because he got us solvent, but McGee did a creditable job.
Yes, Pepsodent upgraded some facilities, such as The Roost student athlete dorms, a new baseball field right behind them, the upgrade/renaming of the football stadium to Williams-Brice, and the ACC football championship in 1969. And if that's all he did, I would agree with you.
But then he complained about recruiting under ACC rules, seemingly overlooking that the other 7 members of the leaguehad the same rules for recruiting as well. He foolishly got us out of the ACC (yes, it was foolish, even though today we're in much better shape being in the SEC), and yet his football teams showed no improvement.
It appears that excluding coaching hires, Tanner did a reasonablly decent job as AD.
