Get him, Juke Harris, Byrd, Vaaks, and a pg, stretch 4 or versatile big. Spend it all on those guys. Forget about Stokes, that's a pipe dream.
We opened up money with those that graduated or have already opted to the portal. Throw in JQ's money and what could be spent on Stokes and we should get at least 4-5 really good players from the portal.

A WAY better version of Jaland Lowe, but those other numbers would have to improve with the offense Pope wants to run!

If he enters yes no brainer unless say Tanner from Vandy entered. Tanner is a far better defender and a shade less on offense rating but we’ve all seen Tanner play multiple times.
I would be lying BIGTIME if I said I didn't want him in Blue, but if he takes his academics seriously, he may well be looking hard at Duke, Vandy and Virginia.
We're going to find out how much, if any, damage was done to our program this year by seeing the interest by guys like this to come to UK. With our pg mess this year this guy like should be looking at us for sure.

Well, it hasn’t “officially happened” yet with anyone, because the portal hasn’t officially opened yet.
ALL of these reported entrants right now are just cases of the player or his agent letting word leak that they “intend” to enter the portal after it opens on April 7th. We won’t know for sure until then.

STANFORD has # 12 rated recruiting class in 2026 with 5 four stars all rated in top 150 including Hakeem Olajuwon‘s son.3 of the recruits are guards & they are still in the mix for a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 2 other 4 stars. Stanford doesn’t do a lot of Portal shopping except for academic qualified kids from the “brain” schools - IVY LEAGUE etc.
Any other year Okorie would go Pro .

His offense is good enough that he’s still easily a net positive, but to be clear, that just means that defense is the weak link in Acuff’s game too more than it means Okorie is solid on that end, because a D rating of 104.3 (I see 104.0 when I check myself, but close enough) is not good. Jasper Johnson was at 104.1 for a point of reference everyone here would easily understand.

Nothing sad about it. He is the same size as Duke Miles who played off-point with Tanner and averaged 16.2 ppg. Byington can easily draw up the same offense using two (2) quick ball-handling guards who can shoot it. It can work well.
Ulis and Briscoe, both point guards, co-existed pretty well for us, along with Murray, back in the day.
