Was a little torn on who to root for. A JHU loss helps us in the standings. But really need JHU to win for RPI. If JHU hold on for the win it will be huge for our RPI.

But what is up with ESPN and Rutgers lacrosse. The announcers were talking about the RPI. They mentioned JHU and Maryland and OSU and Penn St. Even mentioned Michigan winning the AQ last year. The one team they did not mention. Rutgers, B10 team with the 3rd best RPI in the conference.

Hopkins had a deal with ESPN but they are no friend to the Big Ten for obvious reason. They own ACC rights. Doesn’t matter.

Go Hopkins! A win makes ours look even better. PSU is interesting. Ton of talent and they move the ball very well. Their mindset isn’t the best. Front runners. Adversity hits and they don’t handle it well. Their goalie is playing well, but he’s questionable. And a freshmen. Makes them beatable.

I wouldn't worry too much about what they think. Was Quint Kessenich commentating? If so, he's very biased against Rutgers. You have to remember, he's a Johns Hopkins alum, so it must have killed him when we came back last week and beat his beloved Blue Jays. Eff him!

And if it was Paul Carcaterra, he's a former lacrosse midfielder from Syracuse U. Enough said about both of them.

Quint was pitching 5 ACC teams in the tourney. Typical. In reality things are about as wide open as I can remember. I question whether any conference will get more than three.

UNC 14 - Cuse 9. Let's see if 3 loss Syracuse stays in the Top 5.

BTW, if Quint gets his 5 ACC teams in the tourney they will take up 5 at large spots. That would mean either the Ivies or Big 10 would get only 1 at large team. Watch an increase of Duke style OOC schedules if that happens.

Duke could very well go winless in the their league. No way they make the tourney if that happens.

Maryland over OSU in OT. This league is crazy

It's about overcoming adversity. Maryland loses Schaller, the 2025 Defenseman of the Year, to injury and still holds OSU to 7. Tomorrow Rutgers likely will be missing Scerelli for faceoffs. Who steps in against Michigan? As I said earlier D1 and the Big 10 are wide open this year so things will be decided by who steps up

Indeed. Shows Maryland’s recruiting depth. And transfers. That’s this league. He won’t be all we are missing.

If we beat Michigan today we will be atop the Big Ten standings which is big bc all the big games on TV next week will show us at the top which is a good thing to put in the subconscious of the commitee. RU JHU AND PSU all 2-1 with us over JHU and JHU over PSU so we will be #1 technically. But have to win today

If we win, it’s a 4-way tie for first place with Hopkins, PSU, and MD all 2-1.
