Been watching UConn all year and knew they were vulnerable. Doesn't mean anything if we don't close the deal on Sunday. Geno made some punk moves as the game was fading away from him. Lied on our players talking about we tore Sarah Strong's jersey when it was clear she tore her on jersey out of frustration and went after Dawn in the handshake line.

It does mean something to get this far! Of course, we want to win it all…but we beat UConn…that was a big deal!

I said we had a chance to win if we ran the crap out of them. Even though the scoring in the game was low because every shot - every possession - was contested, we did run the crap out of them, and our relative freshness facilitated the run which won the game.

It's not enough. If we haven't reached the point where getting to the Final Four and losing isn't a disparaging disappointment, then we haven't arrived as a program or a fanbase. This upcoming game is monumentally important. Dawn is now closer to the end than the beginning with us. She won't coach as long as Geno has. I can't see her ever being replaced.

Shoot the 3, lock down D, make our chip shots and putbacks, MaKeer could be the key factor!

I'll give myself 2.5 out of 4. UConn's perimeter D was stiffling, we couldn't get off a 3! We could be so much better if we could make close shots and putbacks around the rim or take the foul!

Yes, if you'd told me before the game that we'd only hit 2 three-pointers and Tessa Johnson would go 0-3 from the arc, I would have had a very bad feeling about this game.

It would be a real advantage if our girls can shoot well from the 3-point arc against UCLA, but their length bothers me. They blocked 6 shots against Texas vs having just 1 block by Texas. I think that caused Booker to change her shots and made her look awful. Fortunately, our fortunes aren't tied to any single player on our team and anyone can take up the scoring mantle.

I know this is heresy however I feel Joyce Edwards is overrated. She's a poor shooter, is often out rebounded and is a turnover machine. She does, however, run the floor beautifully.

I would say she has a lot of room for improvement! And you could also say she’s just at that awkward age!

Actually, I think that will be the tougher game. In the women's game, the team with the biggest, baddest female usually wins and UCLA has that this year in Betts. However, I just can't see Raven going out in her last game in tears. I think Ta'Niya has a big game because she came here for games like this. I think we get it done as a team as we have done all year. South Carolina in a nail biter.

Two things can be true. Your analysis may be correct, but it is heresy for those comments to be made after last night's game. I felt she was one of the big keys to our win. The media would have you believe that there is this big gap in the play of Sarah Strong and Joyce Rdwards. Last night, Edwards' play screamed what gap. Edwards was a major factor in Strong having a 4-16 shooting night and a catalyst in out-rebounding the Huskies by 15. Let's just get the victory tomorrow. Worry about improvement in the summer.

In men's hoops in 1971, beating UnCarolina for the ACC Tournament chamionship was a big deal. So much so that the dance was a letdown.

I do not expect that to be the case vs UCLA on Sunday.
