All I know is all this talk about lamb is making me hungry...
Brother in law is roasting one in his backyard for Easter.
I did just have my favorite Greek lamb chops anywhere outside of Astoria, at Pithari in Highland Park, my favorite Greek place in NJ (and I've eaten at a bunch). My old boss, who was from Greece, used to eat there 4-5X a week, lol, as he said it was his favorite Greek food in NJ (and he ate at way more Greek places than I did). Was fun to go there with him and our group - the food and drink just flowed (no liquor license there, but he came prepared).
Speaking of Telly Savalas, he had a pretty compelling Ghost story. He was a great actor & could have made it up but doubt it. It's short like 6 minutes.
Still one of the funniest movies ever.....especially Edward G. Robinson.
I think I remember reading that he was given that part by someone sympathetic to his situation as being blacklisted during the Joe McCarthy years..... you know, the good old days.
