I was wrong about the weather. I forgot it was Thursday-Friday-Saturday, and I was looking at Sunday. Oops. Tomorrow looks like it’s going to be nice. That being said, Colarusso is their ace. There were a lot of BC fans yesterday on Twitter talking about Birdball taking us down, so I asked them if Colarusso was their ace, and they all said yes. They have excellent lefties, but Colarusso is their ace. We absolutely have to hit better, and Folger really needs to bring it.

So far this year, he might be... Between him and Decaro. But CG is superior in almost every pitching stat.
Was at the game tonight with my wife so didn’t post on this thread. But holy cow Glauber is special ladies and gentlemen.
Their ace... kind of like Decaro is ours... although most would agree CG is the best pitcher we have on the staff right now. The guy throwing tomorrow for them is superior in every stat to Colarusso including a BAA that is almost 100 points lower. He's just younger and hasn't pitched as many innings. But his last two outings (including UVA) are better pitching lines than we've seen including Radel from ND before facing us.
I still kinda wish we would have staff day’d Thursday and kept DeCaro and Lynch on something approaching a normal schedule, but I understand why we didn’t. You don’t want to look like you’re punting the first game. And given how Tuesday went, a staff day Saturday if Boaz doesn’t pitch well is easier than one on Thursday.
So you think college kids should be able to handle the bat like the all-time hits leader in MLB history?
I'm saying they don't need to try to hit home runs with every swing. Just find grass. Warning track outs with the bases loaded and 2 outs does no one any good.
