If a WR makes 12 catches...they are going to get 150+ yards and a couple of tds...if a rb runs 12x he gets 36 yards and his td is dependent on the oline. The amount of skill required to run a route, to get open, to catch a ball while avoiding NFL defenders is fairly unimaginable. WRs also run like 1000 to 1600 yards a game at max effort, they run 30-40 routes a game, only get targeted 25% of the time if that, and half the time the qb makes a bad throw that endangers their health or makes a bad read and throws to the wrong guy, or the coach calls 10 straight routes where you are the 3rd option and are just a decoy. No wonder they are always pissed.
