His interview at the end of the third quarter was almost like a Woody Hayes meltdown. He was screaming about Sarah Strong‘s jersey being ripped apart and the referee is not calling a foul. They showed the final play of the quarter and she was not fouled and she ripped her own shirt out of frustration. You can see on the video as the quarter ended she had no tears or no holes or nothing in her shirt as he implied. Then she ripped her shirt apart out of being mad for missing the shot. . He now looks like an *** clown. And his complaint about officials, the way UConn plays. They should have 20 more fouls.

PS Geno…you don’t get fouled much trying to shoot three-pointers

That's a HUGE win for our team to state the obvious. Huskies favored by 6.5, undefeated, and we win by 14. That's a 20 point swing from what the money bets were showing. Yeah yeah.. I know.. Close the deal or it doesn't mean much. Two of the teams that beat us are in the other bracket. Revenge game either way. Go Cocks!

We lost to UT twice and OU. Didn’t play UCLA this year.

While watching the game I sure thought they were getting away with more marginal fouls than we were, but I'm looking through garnet classes. I think any coach that sees a big gap in fouls called in defensive game like that is going to gripe, not taking up for Geno at all he showed his ***, but if the those calls went the other way I guarentee Dawn would be ticked and definitely say something, but she would never make a scene like that!

I'm OK with complaining about not getting calls. I would expect any coach to rant and rave to the refs if his team got called for 6 fouls in a quarter while the opponent got zero. That's part of his job. What wasn't cool was complaining about Dawn during the in-game interview. . . for doing the same thing! As long as the opposing coach isn't throwing chairs across the court, he had no business commenting on her coaching style on national TV. And then, of course, the factually incorrect statements about the torn jersey and the handshake as justification for him acting like a child were just over the top. I really think he tarnished his legacy a bit in this game. Not a Woody Hayes level of tarnishing, but a tarnishing nonetheless.

If I’m not mistaken there was time on the clock and the teams were still on the floor. Geno should have gotten a “T”, then he could have had more to whine about

Dawn would whip his *** in a fight.This isn’t the first time Geno has complained about Carolina being physical.A few years ago Carolina drubbed them in Volumbia.Geno cried and said he didn’t like SC ‘s brand of “physical play.”

Now that i think about it, Pat Summit quit playing UConn bc Geno was an a$$. She put it in her book. It started when UConn was undefeated and lost to UT in the NCAA Title game.

I think they scheduled each other like they did for the good of the game. When Simmitt's fatal illness became publicly known, Geno did reach out to her.

And I hope what happened doesn't result in the cancellation of the next Uconn series with USC scheduled to begin next season.

A little Youtube seven or eight minute thing popped up this morning about Geno and Pat Summit. I watched because I am a good algorithm sheep😁.

Pat described Geno as a foul mouthed a$$hole. The clip highlighted each of their books and quotes.

UConn fans overlook it bc of success. I would also. His ego went from competitive to entitlement. But I totally found the most outrageous thing was his comments at the start of the fourth quarter about how Dawn talked to referees. Hypocrisy
