Pretty much where I had us relegated to following a very disappointing UCLA loss. And I'll hold with my original preseason prediction of a Regional host plus anything else as gravy. It's early in year one. Coach O will recruit some high level talent at all positions in the coming years. This journey has only begun.
All we can do now is pick ourselves up and try like hell to avoid a sweep.

Yeah, tomorrow morning's game is hugely important to post season aspirations. But having seen UCLA and UGA up close and personal, it really feels like those 2 teams are the most complete teams in NCAA baseball and could very easily be your 2026 CWS finals. Once we get McPherson back, we will push ourselves back up a few notches and maybe creep toward a Super or CWS slot. Gotta get this catcher thing solved.... a lot of that has to do with so many new pitchers with whom the catchers don't know well and vice versa. Kind of a jelling thangy. In the off season, I can see Coach O going after one or two ELITE catchers who do everything well.

We lost to a top 5 team & some folks lose their crap. Guess what, they're better than us but both games were 1 run games and the umps sucked. We still got too much Limp dick Lemonis in this team and it's up to the new staff to get it fixed. Too many mental midgets when things aren't easy.
