Triple magic for Jake Schaffner, his three-baggers clears the bases and UNC takes a 3-0 lead. Schaffner is now back for solo lead for triples in the conference and is second in the nation
This is what early offense looks like... I kinda like it. Especially against a small ball team that is willing to give up outs for single runs. Puts more pressure on them being behind early, IMO than traditional offenses.
Hopefully we win big enough tonight that we don't have to use Globe. We will need him tomorrow
I love our pitching. But , is it just me , but when we get 2 strikes , we seem to throw a few non competitive pitches? Just gets our pitch count up. Looking good so far. Got Jason 3 early runs! Go Heels.

Offense needs to step up big to take some of the pressure of the relievers, as good as they have shown to be
