This. You MUST build a roster based on your needs, and we NEED perimeter players, way more then another post. I don't think that Ava and Crooks could play together, so signing her would be silly based on where we need to fill the roster. I mean lets sign a slow post player, and not someone who can facilitate and handle the ball, and shoot from the perimeter???? Area's where we were not good enough to beat top teams this year and we lost several of the players who played those positions as well.

Iowa "did better", as you say, because they have a better supporting cast than Iowa State.
Crooks averaged nearly 26 points per game. She wasn't the reason Iowa State didn't have a better record. She was the reason they were even that good.
