I'm surprised really. Thought Iowa might get it only because no one expected them to get to elite 8.

They had a great tournament but went under .500 in the Big 10 if you include their conference tournament loss. This with a player budget reportedly about twice ours.

If you count the conference tournament they finished below .500
but they finished 10-10 and 9th in the conference and unranked.

Yeah Fred is the man. He took the blame for Mast. Mast almost did the same thing in the second half of the prior game as well. Fred owned it instead of blaming his players. Like a pro. It’s refreshing to see at Nebraska after the Pelini and Frost eras
