He’s giving him hell over the fastballs he missed, he threw like 7 sliders in 2 ABs. Only one was close.
And he injected himself into that mound meeting which obviously Forbes did not like....
As he should. The ump flat out sucks.
The home plate ump has been terrible - so incredibly inconsistent on balls and strikes
Told him “don’t you talk to my players again”.
i heard greg was behind the plate and i immediately threw on BC moneylinr
Been awful for both teams
missed a couple pitches straight down the middle for BC and zone has just been everywhere
As bad as he’s been, we have also had chances on offense to tee off on that curveball that he was throwing and a fast balls that he threw and we just decided not to swing
Just as an aside, Matthijs went out of his way to stay and sign my little girls hat today. Really good dude
I'm aware of how it works..... but he said something that Forbes didn't like clearly from the reaction and the 'don't do that again' or something to that effect.
The umpire hasn’t been particularly good. I also don’t think it has much to do with the score of the game. The difference is the hit batsmen and BC having productive outs while we have 10 strikeouts.
Owen hull is one of my favorite players we’ve had in a while, just a ball of energy. Makes things happen.
That first pitch called strike is why Forbes is pissed.
That strike call led to Howe swinging at the second pitch
The way this has gone I half expected the LF to be playing right where the ball was hit.
It’s leads to tense ABs because the ball/strike calls are all over the damn place. It’s a joke.
I hope Greg or whatever his name is doesn’t sleep a wink tonight. I can’t stand incompetence.
