I don’t know what happened with our aggressiveness on the bases. But, when you aren’t hitting the ball all over the ball park you have to push the issue, Jake has been on twice tonight and has been glued to first base. He even got a dirt ball and didn’t read it well so didn’t take the base.. we’re above average at pretty much everything, but we’ve been entirely to passive on the base paths this year.
Just not our night. BC has done a great job of keeping us from gaining any traction or building any sort of momentum in this game.
This game is a freaking nightmare. We have not looked like the same team in any aspect.
Who in gods name is calling pitches? He’s thrown 7 straight sliders for balls. Mercy.
Pressure is on us now to win Fri/Sat. Game not over but playing the way we are I don’t see much hope.
