Frustrating inning. 3 rockets and a walk and didn’t score. Worked his pitch count a lot, though.
Dang. Lynch is his own worst enemy tonight. Got to quit hitting and walking hitters. We need him tonight to stay in this game..
BC takes a lead on a ground ball through the left side, throwing error by Kellis moves the runners on the base paths over 90 feet. Bullpen runs down and Gaines comes out to talk to Lynch
Ump is all over the place, likes it low though.
I was worried about getting quality length out of Lynch on 4 days rest. If Tuesday wouldn’t have happened, I thought we might consider a bullpen day today.
Lynch gets out of it with a K and an induced 1-3 to end the inning with only one run across the plate for BC. Going into B4, BC 2 - UNC 1
Nice job by Lynch pitching around the defensive mistake that moved the runners up.
