No 36 Rutgers Gymnastics will take on No. 31 Central Michigan in the first round of the NCAA Lexington Regional today at 2:00 pm ET. The meet will stream live on ESPN+.
The winner will then participate in the regional semifinal quad against #1 Oklahoma, #16 Kentucky, and #18 Ohio State on Friday night at 7:00 pm ET. The top two teams from that quad will advance to the regional final on Sunday.
Gabrielle Dildy (All-Around) and Emily Leese (Vault, Floor) both qualified as individuals, meaning they will compete Friday night regardless of team performance.

Rutgers wins with a score of 196.200 to 195.700. They move on to face Oklahoma, Kentucky, and OSU in the Round of 32. Top 2 advance to the Sweet 16 on Sunday.

All 11 B1G teams in the NCAAs advanced to Round 2 as Nebraska and Washington also won their play in meets.
Wikipedia has the score wrong and shows Central Michigan advancing. Here is the link. Maybe it will be fixed by the time people click on it.
Some smooth brain had the teams *** backwards on that. Scores were correct but teams were switched.
We probably don’t have much chance to finish top 2 tonight, as the three other teams are all top 20 — including #1 Oklahoma — and they all regularly score higher than 197.000, whereas we only exceeded 196.000 three times. Our highest score is basically the AVERAGE of these other squads.
Regardless, it should be a great experience for our team, and I hope they can at least make it interesting. Plus, Dildy and Leese will be competing in individual events.
