I want Audi Crooks at Nebraska to team up with Prince and Potts. In women's basketball, you can guard two, but its tough to guard three scorers. Most people on this board could give two $*** about women's sports, but I care, because we need as many sports as possible to turn a profit or minimize loss. Also, I don't like people who don't like what I like from behind the safety of my keyboard. So all of you who could care less, have a rotten weekend.

Would you really want her though? Demands the ball and basically takes every shot, and plays almost no defense. The fact that ISU's program was basically destroyed this year would give me pause. We definitely need another Markowski but I'd pass on Crooks.
I thought for sure this would be about a shady car dealership and/or euro garage transaction

hate seeing this happen to audi. good youngster from an iowa small town catholic high school. given a lot back to her family and community through nil. a great athlete not only in hoops but t&f will probably get a million plus to sign.
the problem with crooks is defense. she can't get back against swift teams like say a texas or wvu. so that sets a team ceiling. she never won a regular season championship at ames and lost in the first round of every ncaa tournament.
so if a conference championship is the goal, she's probably a good addition. beyond that, she's not shown the ability to carry her team. as a k-state fan, i would pass.

You can't run from the obvious. She is too big. Whenever anyone mentions it, Crooks gets defensive. It hinders her ability to run the court and play defense. She uses it to her advantage around the rim but everywhere else it is a liability.
i doubt lsu or texas will be interested in crooks. she does not fit their schemes. usc has a very talented roster next year. tcu, maybe, they tend to pay a lot then underachieve. notre dame is mid and would not surprise either. places like N, minnesota, and iowa seem more likely to me - closer to algona. going to iowa city would cause quite a churn.

I was kind of surprised Iowa wasnt on the list . But they maybe going off she is obviously the biggest name in the portal and figure she would go to a contender.i watched her she is a huge liability anywhere on the court besides right next to the basket.
She has the exact same vertical as Angel Reese. And defense is optional. But with the right coach, she can plug up the lane, and get some boards. I would take her in a heart beat. Basically a female Charles Barkley. But she can score. I can see it now.....The wide load from Lincoln. The Crisco Kid....The bread Truck.....fans here would love her.

Jess Shepherd was a terrible defensive player til she got to Notre Dame. Fennelly obviously didn't prioritize it. And of course, anyone could say that Jess played for Williams and got wrecked by Bri Rollerson, so how could Crooks come here and become a good defender. I don't know if she could. If she goes to a Top 10 program, she will be accountable for defensive effort.
