Every year is a huge year. Was 2nd place in the league starting 4 Sophomores not good this year? Would you say she had a poor season?Next year will be a huge year for Jensen IMO>

How has she performed against the best teams post season? 2 blow outs and early exists from the tourney. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.Every year is a huge year. Was 2nd place in the league starting 4 Sophomores not good this year? Would you say she had a poor season?
Yep, made the semi Sweet 32!!!!How has she performed against the best teams post season? 2 blow outs and early exists from the tourney. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
Which teams beat UCLA, UConn and Texas this year? Its a pretty small group. You know what else is a small group - a team that beat Michigan twice. How has she performed against the best teams post season? 2 blow outs and early exists from the tourney. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
Yep, made the semi Sweet 32!!!!
I was hoping that was the "floor".
Might be the "ceiling"?
Two years in a row.
Nah, just expect a little more from a program that supposedly is top ten in the country from a financial resources standpoint. You cry a lot.
Nah, just expect a little more from a program that supposedly is top ten in the country from a financial resources standpoint.
Teams in that category don't get beat by 50+ points.
Not seeing a team on your list that got beat by 50+!USC got beat by 40
Notre Dame got beat by 38
Oklahoma got beat by 34
Ohio St got by 32
Duke got beat by 30
Tennessee got beat by 30
Vanderbilt got beat by 30
TCU got beat by 26
There are a lot of teams that spent just as much on their rosters, if not more than Iowa that all had pretty rough blowouts.
There's a pretty big gap between the Top 4 schools and everyone else.
15 of them were when Levin and Mallegni were playing against Kneepkens, Dugalic etc.Not seeing a team on your list that got beat by 50+!![]()
No one, absolutely no one, gives two shiits who was on the floor at the end of games.15 of them were when Levin and Mallegni were playing against Kneepkens, Dugalic etc.
It shows you one thing, Iowa needs 5 stars as deep bench players!
The NCAA basketball tournament is a continual one and done scenario. The better team does not always win and upsets aren't uncommon. In a 5 game series, Iowa wins that Virginia matchup every time.Nah, just expect a little more from a program that supposedly is top ten in the country from a financial resources standpoint.
Teams in that category don't get beat by 50+ points.
Las Vegas Aces have more money to spend on players than any other team in the WNBA with that shady Vegas Tourism Agency $$. They also have A'ja Wilson.Nah, just expect a little more from a program that supposedly is top ten in the country from a financial resources standpoint.
Teams in that category don't get beat by 50+ points
She just wants to play. Loyalty has nothing to do with it. Can't hardly blame her.Of all the players brought in two years ago, Levin was the only player not ranked in the top 100. She was ranked highly in Iowa not nationally. If a player from Solon hits the portal, doesn't say much for in-state loyalty.
"Got beat by 50 Pts." Everybody drink!Nah, just expect a little more from a program that supposedly is top ten in the country from a financial resources standpoint.

I agree with you but I’m 66 years old and when I commit to something I generally saw it thru.Of all the players brought in two years ago, Levin was the only player not ranked in the top 100. She was ranked highly in Iowa not nationally. If a player from Solon hits the portal, doesn't say much for in-state loyalty.
??????? EVERYTIME? We played them once and lost, but your saying if we played them FIVE times we'd win them all? Okay then....The NCAA basketball tournament is a continual one and done scenario. The better team does not always win and upsets aren't uncommon. In a 5 game series, Iowa wins that Virginia matchup every time.
In a 5 game series you only need to win 3. Try to keep up.??????? EVERYTIME? We played them once and lost, but your saying if we played them FIVE times we'd win them all? Okay then....
Perhaps. The NCAA basketball tournament is a continual one and done scenario. The better team does not always win and upsets aren't uncommon. In a 5 game series, Iowa wins that Virginia matchup every time.
Thing is, Virginia tried to give that game away and still won.??????? EVERYTIME? We played them once and lost, but your saying if we played them FIVE times we'd win them all? Okay then....
I'll never understand that new math.??????? EVERYTIME? We played them once and lost, but your saying if we played them FIVE times we'd win them all? Okay then....
Ask the Wisconsin men what happened. The NCAA basketball tournament is a continual one and done scenario. The better team does not always win and upsets aren't uncommon. In a 5 game series, Iowa wins that Virginia matchup every time.
The 27 wins don't matter? And several of those against ranked teams? You don't get a chance to "finish" in the NCAA Tournament without having a very good year. You seem to have forgotten Jan also was a nominee for National Coach of the Year...How has she performed against the best teams post season? 2 blow outs and early exists from the tourney. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.
I see. So it's only that magic # that can qualify as a beat down. 30-40 pt losses are considered close games. I get it now.Not seeing a team on your list that got beat by 50+!![]()
I'm just using the examples he/she mentioned, although it's tough finding top 25 teams that got azz kicked by 52+.I see. So it's only that magic # that can qualify as a beat down. 30-40 pt losses are considered close games. I get it now.
It used to be the case where players like Levin could bide their time and have their season. McCabe was probably the last of that era. With the portal, bench players will almost always be bench players unless they trade down a step. Don't blame Levin one bit. This, of course, makes it difficult for teams trying to level up to hang on to good bench players.
I'd sure love to think that, but money and contract agreements warp everything. Do you read these threads and find patience? It's crazy, and ruining the sport, but that's pretty much all college athletics right now.Couldn't she grow her game and increase her minutes?
The opportunity to improve MORE than your teammates is always going to be there. There's just going to me more competition with transfers with immediate eligibility.
The sticking around for playing time as a senior didn't always work out before.... if you aren't improving and can't beat out younger players than join the team... You ride the bench for 4 years.
I agree 100% with your comments especially the first two. Agents are ruthless and not to be trusted (always exceptions) IMO.I'd sure love to think that, but money and contract agreements warp everything. Do you read these threads and find patience? It's crazy, and ruining the sport, but that's pretty much all college athletics right now.
I think the second part of this might be players playing year round, training, getting recruited at 14-15 years old. Many might near their ceiling at a much younger age than they used to, and improvements forward might only come in smaller increments.
Agents get involved and muck everything up.
Can you imagine trying to coach when every move you make could break your roster? Until they start putting in some real contracts and guardrails, it's only going to get worse.
