Go Braves
A few nice stats to start the year.

First time in a 100 years the Braves have 2 shutouts in their first 4 games! Last year it took 56 games!

Brad Elder now stands as the only MLB pitcher who has allowed three runs or less over at least six innings seven times going back to Aug. 24. The only other pitchers to do this six times during this stretch are the Marlins’ Sandy Alcantara, the Dodgers’ Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the Red Sox's Garrett Crochet, and the Yankees’ duo of Max Fried and Carlos Rodón.

Through 6 games theBraves have a team era of 2.00, early I know, but AA seems to know what he's doing. Why spend 20+ million when you don't have to, I might eat those words, but so far the pitching has been outstanding. The Yanks era is 1.01. Funny quote from Elder the other day. Last year I had to learn how to suck!
