It's champing. Sorry, pet peeve.Im chomping at the bit.
Agree... doesn't bring much to the table as an analystJim Jackson has always been a very bland commentator. And it's not just because this is a who cares tournament. He's sounded like he was going to fall asleep during quite a few regular season games as well.
Doesn't matter. ImIt's champing. Sorry, pet peeve.

OK, you're the chompion of usage!Usage: While traditionalists prefer "champing," Merriam-Webster and other sources acknowledge that "chomping" is widely accepted.

You're the one that can't stay up beyond 11pm---and is the one that has problems being up late or waiting in lines at the stadium. So appropriate, you're actually speaking about yourself--- a hoarder ,malcontent, complainer--- have you given up your season tickets-- what a phoney.Get back in your coffin its only 2pm

You're another idiot-- you must share that coffin with your brother-- I'm guessing no wife, partner or who however would share a bed with you two.
I'm sure the hotel is picking up much of the cost, including some TV costs. Fans are going to gamble and lose, and younger people are going to be introduced to Las Vegas. If FS1 wasn't going to make money they wouldn't televise the games.@ BAC - I mean, what type of (lower quartile) TV audience do you think FS1 typically draws when they don’t have rights to a desirable event in the 10:30PM EST slot? My guess is it is quite low and the “targets to match” across each of the 7 game slots in the Crown are consistently low as well.
Viewership data, of course, isn’t readily available to the public in this way, but only lower quartile numbers would be relevant to financially rationalize the Crown’s existence. These deep consolation type sporting events (all of them - every sport and form) are obviously scheduled for times when nothing else is going on that contracted station is eligible to broadcast. So we have to basically think of it as - how do the Crown ratings compare to them putting on a rerun of something they have unlimited rights to or paying for rights to broadcast in that slot? I don’t know the answer to this. Maybe they make out better without the Crown in the long run but seeing how lower bowls and such ballooned to what they’ve become, I tend to doubt it.
