I ended playing basketball because trusting the process paid off and I felt so much pride in playing for Iowa and the BEST coaches and teammates I could have asked for. I am so grateful for every opportunity I was granted and will forever be a Hawkeye!!!

These damn agents get in their ear. They only get paid if their players get paid. Jan wants nothing but the best for these young women, as did Lisa. Their mission goes beyond basketball, developing them to have success after basketball. As a parent, can you ask for more?

If Addie was in fact getting paid $1mm this year I have to believe that she was also in line for a huge pay cut which didn't help things any. These discussions between coaches and players (along with parents and agents) are a whole lot harder than they used to be before money became a primary issue.

True as well as sad/disgusting says this 78. year old. If you are in my age “area” you understand what I feel pertaining to loyalty.

Not the thought process in this day and age.
Who would have thought a scholarship, food and lodging would be taken over by paying 19-20 yr olds millions of dollars.
