Taylor McCabe on Instagram:

“I started playing basketball because of my dad and high school musical.

I ended playing basketball because trusting the process paid off and I felt so much pride in playing for Iowa and the BEST coaches and teammates I could have asked for. I am so grateful for every opportunity I was granted and will forever be a Hawkeye!!!

Stay low, shoot high, and let that MF fly!”

We really missed that swagger down the syretch. Ny her denior deason her defense was very good and her release was super quick. She is a bright young lady? I wish her nothing but good health, happiness and prosperity.

I hate auto correct. You read your post later and are like wtf.

Also love the post :)

She was also on legitimate championship level teams during those years, but your point is very well taken. Others could use that as an example.
These damn agents get in their ear. They only get paid if their players get paid. Jan wants nothing but the best for these young women, as did Lisa. Their mission goes beyond basketball, developing them to have success after basketball. As a parent, can you ask for more?

I kinda feel like shes calling out Addie with the "trusting the process" part considering Addie...didn't trust the process.
If Addie was in fact getting paid $1mm this year I have to believe that she was also in line for a huge pay cut which didn't help things any. These discussions between coaches and players (along with parents and agents) are a whole lot harder than they used to be before money became a primary issue.

True as well as sad/disgusting says this 78. year old. If you are in my age “area” you understand what I feel pertaining to loyalty.

I hit the big 7 - 0 this year. Only worked for three companies over my career. Five year mark, another 20 years, then 15 more years. Good things come to those who wait.
Not the thought process in this day and age.
Who would have thought a scholarship, food and lodging would be taken over by paying 19-20 yr olds millions of dollars.
