I have been wondering that for years. As long as people continue to pay they will continue to charge. I just got tickets to Billy in New Orleans and Huntsville this morning. Newman were 120 each and Huntsville were 80 each and they will both easily sell out. I guess I don’t even think about it anymore
I’ve not seen Billy in almost three years now. I may buy a ticket to that Smoothie King show…

$17.50 Rolling Stones, George thorogood and the Destroyers and the Neville Bros, Super Dome 1981(ish), the same year the Worlds Fair was in New Orleans, I think.
I was working in CA and set up a Sales and Field Application Engineer trip to a George Thorogood and the Destroyers concert at the Ventura Theater. They had tables set up and ours was center stage butted up to the stage. I sat with my left elbow on the stage. He put on a great show. My European sale manager was also at the table. After the concert I asked what he thought. He said, "It was quite trial wasn’t it"?
