NOW - Trump signs executive order curbing mail-in ballot fraud, requiring Homeland Security to prepare a list of citizens eligible to vote in each state, require the Postal Service to only send absentee ballots to voters on the list and mandate those ballots have envelopes and barcodes for tracking.

Many people don’t seem to understand the power wielded by the Commander in Chief, if he so chooses to exercise it.

It's kind of funny that the enemies trying to destroy Trump/MAGA by cheating with mass mail in ballots... built their election hacking infrastructure to be dependent on an agency under the Executive Branch of Government.
Trump literally has the power to direct the Executive branch to enforce existing law, and if the USPS refuses... THEN he will "have cause" to dismiss their Board of Governors and appoint new ones.
Many of Trumps EO's are specifically designed to be contested and end up in the Supreme Court. Just like tomorrows hearing on Birthright Citizenship.
He is bypassing a dysfunctional Congress that moves too slow by getting EO's in front of SCOTUS.

President Trump signing Executive Orders on election integrity is purely a legal strategy. The lawsuits that follow them are the entire point. He is FORCING these issues into the courts, up through the appeals process, and potentially to the SCOTUS where a nationwide ruling could be set BEFORE critical elections. He knows these rogue activist judges are going to scream 'unconstitutional, you can't do that.' Blah, blah, blah. Yep. 2026 was the year. I remember because I seriously began plans to divest myself of waterfront property given how certain he was that it would be underwater. I even bought private stock in guillotine manufacturing companies knowing that would be the next big boom. Mail in voting has made me a better voter.
In CO, we get the ballot and there's multiple drop off locations. Since it's mail in, I'm able to take my time looking at those running and educate myself on their policies. Any of the actual bills or acts that we the people also vote on, I'm able to again take my time to educate myself on what's going on since there's often issues I'm voting on that I'm not aware of.
This keeps people from voting straight ticket. In the past at a voting booth, I'd see names I have no idea about. So like many, I may just go with the incumbent or a particular party.
I'm a much better educated voter due to mail in.
Just a counter point to those who are anti-mail in. If you're worried about illegals, which according to the data available is minimal, then I'm not going to change your opinion there. But if you want people to be more educated in what they're voting, it's like having an open book test with mail in ballots. They've legit been a game-changer for me.

You have people going door to door in some areas collecting ballots. And they have the opportunity to tell people to complete their ballot and even pressure them to vote for a particular candidate.
Imagine sitting at home apathetic about an election. Knock at the door. “Do you have your ballot? Go find it. Don’t you want to vote for Kamala?”
It just opens up the opportunity for so much tampering.

There's certainly a part of me that is in support of telling people to complete their ballot because I'm a believer that everyone should vote. And I'm all for it being "easier" for folks to have options for turning in their ballots.
But certainly follow your point of view here.
I think mail in ballots are fine. I just think it should follow a very logical set of guardrails.
— They must be proactively requested, whether that’s online, by mail or in person
— They must only be sent to registered voters
— Those registered voters must have shown photo ID and proof of citizenship to register
— Completed ballots must be delivered in an approved and secure way - allow direct relatives to return ballots as in your example
— Strict identity verification of completed ballots (AI can make this a breeze going forward)
— Severe penalties for tampering or harvesting (jail, fines)
so, you don't have any idea of who the candidates are before you get the mail in ballot? Aren't there newspapers/internet out there?
