When he kissed the logo, if you were there, its something dads and sons will talk about for the rest of their lives. That guy gave you everything when he was on the court.
I was there with my son. I remember it like it was yesterday.

They ran Bama's hired thugs outta the gym that night.

When he kissed the logo, I swear someone started chopping onions. Told my son to keep his eyes on the cheerleaders while I cleared the pollen out of my eyes.

Deion Calhoun. Lightly recruited out of high school and ended up being a 3 year starter for us on the offensive line. Started same 3 years Fitz was the QB so helped create some of those running lanes.

Has his own bbq catering business now and served the team last week

For me Mississippi State at our best is identifying solid players that other schools overlook and we develop them into All Conference type players. We've had many other players like Calhoun in all sports over the years but thought I'd give him a shout out since I saw what he did for the team last week

Can’t believe it got this far without a mention of Cam Matthews.

If we had 5 of him, we’d beat several NBA teams. Not because of superior talent, but eventually they’d just quit due to running out of gas.

Can't put a price tag on memories like that.

Jake Mangum. He’s always represented State with the utmost respect and class. I’m not aware of any negative press involving him ever.
