Couldn't locate original Mamu thread...
With all the post season NCAA games, many may not have noticed........
In Raptors 52 point win v Magic the other night, Mamu was a big contributor and led the team with a +47 at the end of the game. I've never seen a +/- that high. Of course you don't see that many 50+ wins in NBA either.
Raptors scored an NBA record of 31 unanswered points during 1st/2nd qtr that fueled their big 139-87 win. During that run Mamu had 2 3's an and one and at least one other basket and a couple steals. He had 19 pts in 21 minutes. Good job Mamu!!!!
His current line is 11.1 ppg, 4.9 reb, 1.8 ast and 52.1 FG%.... includes 37.9% from 3.
He's been able to take advantage of some extended playing time (a couple of injuries opened up the door a little) to put up some decent numbers. Last 4 games..... he's scored 19, 18, 13 and 23. A couple games before that run he was in single digits, buthe's been cracking the 10pt line in most games. He's been pretty consistent as the first one off the bench.
Happy to see him do well. I'm becoming a Raptors fan.
