i too tried to watch one of the basketball games, but the commercials were happening it felt like every minute or two. i don't care enough to sit through that many commercials.
the mbb tournament generates ~$1billion in media rights. obviously, those commercials that annoy you and me pay for the event that is keeping the ncaa viable.
cfp media rights are ~$1.3billion. the women's tournament is worth ~$65million for comparison sake.
