QB Rittenhouse (St Francis) threw 5 (yes 5) interceptions and overcame that to lead the Birds back

Biggest win in program history. And, yes, I attended the national championship game in 2015 and know all about that run. To knock off that program in that building in the manner they did was special. Biggest win as a fan for me since October 26, 2005.

If you pulll up ESPN last nite after MNF - Van Petl and Stenstrom did their Bad Beats segment and ISU was first segment - Under was 52 for the game and with 2:44 left it was 28-14 Bison - they were very complementary on Birds (Sobs catches and Tommy's throws, Dawson run, Presson 2 pter).
Great revenge game against UC Davis - who beat us 42-10 the year before. Now on to Villanova on the 20th to see if we get to the Championship in Nashville on Jan 5th vs either Montana or Montana State.
Illinois State won again on the road....this time at Villanova.

To circle back to football Rittenhouse signed with a CFL team, good for him.

NIT Final Four next week.
ISU Women's Basketball team also just won 81-62 in the 2nd round of the tournament.
And won again vs Abilene Christian - next up is George Washington for the ladies
