Not seeing where the SEC is all that great, either.
A nice day! Duke men and women were both eliminated! Only thing now is I don`t have anyone to pull against although I don`t want UConn to win, especially both.
The Big Ten and the Big 12 were the best conferences in MBB this year. The Big Ten had 6 of the last 16 teams. Duke should have been in the Final Four. Agreed that the ACC is not the premier conference anymore.
The expansions of the past 25 years have watered down the ACC.
The loss of generational coaches has had deleterious effects also.

Oregon wins on a travel time limit while Northwestern was at bat with runners on. Terrible way to end. Feels like youth baseball on the weekend.
Another reason why collegiate athletic conferences should not be that spread out. But then the SEC has some of that, e.g., USC at LSU or Arkansas, which predates the expansion further west.
I would concur that is the underlying reason, much more so than expansion.
Expansion has not hurt the B1G and has significantly helped the BIG 12 in terms of MBB.
