Shame. I remember him very well !
For whatever reason Ken Clay and Gil Patterson are a synonymous duo for me !

Makes sense.... roughly the same age. Major shoulder injury put the kibosh on Patterson's promising career.
RIP. As a young kid, followed the Yankees closely, but his name did not register. Had a Ron Guidry baseball glove. Will have to see if I have a Ken Clay card in my collection. He ran into many issues after his retirement.
