I would not want her on my team under any circumstance.
No. She'd completely change the nature of our offense and she'd be a major liability in transition and on defense. Ava's a better all around big.
No! Other than shooting 2-footers, she's a liability defensively and rebounding.

That young lady would be last on my list of the top 1,000 options for Iowa. Her greatest skill is being so big it takes a week just to get around her. Good for her that she's been able to play D-1 college basketball, but please . . . don't confuse her massive physical presence with anything resembling a talented athlete.

If we didn't have Ava, I would have said yes. But I'd much rather have two years of Ava than one year of Audi. I'm still of the mindset that the 27-28 season has a chance to be something very special if we're able to retain our key pieces and add a few more.
Hell yes I would want her if we can get her. Ava is great from the high block. Those two together would be unstoppable.

For now, we still have our “key” players. Ava, Chitty, & maybe Stremlow/Journey.
Both Deal & Levin are easily replaceable (& hopefully upgradable).
Are you saying if she went to uconn or SC they wouldn't win a title? They would still win even if she set on the bench.

Do you want another season of a high-low double post offense? I'd much rather keep Ava as a single post and switch back to a four out offense with a stretch 4.
Only because Crooks is essentially a once in a generation type player that would fit that offense so well.
She and Ava would dominate. Crooks won't be good in the pros but could be a 35ppg scorer at Iowa with teams having to respect Ava. You couldn't double team. Teams would play zone and then we would get 15 offensive rebounds a game. It would be a matchup nightmare.
And meanwhile B1G teams would run us off the court and put up way more points on us because she's not good in transition and her low post defense is weak.
Iowa State did really well and didn't have an Ava...
They didn't have nearly as good of a season as Iowa and they play in a weaker conference.
