A perp walk and significant jail time will do just fine for me. No way he didn't know about all that money laundering. Probably was getting kickbacks.
No probably to it . No way in hell he did not know. I could understand a little fraud ..... but not at that amount. He should have to pay restitution to the taxpayers for all the money he helped steal.
All politicians, lawyers and judges should automatically get life in the worst prison in the the U.S if caught in fraud.
Doctors should for medical fraud.

If a welder knowingly has gross negligence doing high pressure lines and causes deaths i have no problems.
Reason I say politicians, lawyers and judges should get life is they know the laws , and are in place to enforce the laws . Should come with a extra degrees of responsibility to obey them . Sorta like a cdl driver always gets charged more for driving infractions. Even if we exclude lawyers and judges, politicians should always get life for fraud of tax payer money.
I do believe people in trades or any profession should get punished more if they are purposely screwing people. Lack of integrity is disgusting and greed is the greatest cause. As a welder I can tell you many times I make companies put in writing what they are telling me to do . I tell them the proper procedures and they want to cut every corner....... greed ....

It is the act of fraud, not the occupation of the fraudster, that matters.

Politicians scamming should get life and public beatings. Judges and lawyers who break the law should get more time because the law is there profession.
