Arizona beat them on their home floor earlier this year. I think they may have been missing Reed though.
They were missing Reed, who is their best player.

This sets up well for Uconn - they'll get a team/coach they can run circles around, then get the winner of the Zona/UM game after they slaughter each other and feel like they already won the NC.

UConn was beating Zona in the final 2 minutes without Reed. Personally think they match up better with Zona than UM, as they have no one that can guard Yaxel.

The issue is the two best teams left have to play each other.
UConn will more than likely dismantle Illinois.
That leaves Zona or UM to finish them off.

I they do win it all, this fan base better wake the eff up and realize that are a major threat to us.
What does "major threat to us" mean? Realize, while we have the all time wins lead, most of that was from a very long time ago. We have dominated in a few eras, the 40s and 50s, the mid 70s, the Pitino/Tubby years, and a good run by Cal. While I want us to compete every year for a title, I think most people on this site think we have been more dominant than we have been.

They beat Illini at the end of November, but Iliinois best player only played 14 mins, but I don't know if he was hurt or what.

UConn is the third best team left and they’re gonna have their hands full with Illinois

imo uconn has the advantage. michigan and arizona are in the late game and the winner will likely have survived a war of a game. a fresh arizona would win imo, but we’ll just see.
It's a diference of a few hours, and they aren't playing the next day. Non factor.

What kind of question is this? Do you want to lose our title lead? If they win it this year, they will be ONE behind us. And that's with winning 3 of the last four.

I don't think so but it seems like they can't lose when they have a chance at a title.
Eventually, the law of averages is going to come crashing down on Uconn in the tournament. They've had phenomenal fortune the last 15-20 yrs. Hearbreak and misery are around the corner.

We should have given Hurley 50 million a year if that’s what it took. Could care less about any other program or rogue AD who is making money for nothing. Sacrifice it all to get him here

There were 5 threads this morning about Dukes coronation. I don't think UConn can beat Michigan or Arizona personally

I hope you’re right. Just sucks they only have to play one of them. I’d feel a lot better if they had to get through both.

I know! I hope Illinois plays the game of their lives.

It took a coaching gaff from the Great Choker for UConn to get to the final four. I don't see them getting past Arizona/Michigan.

Illinois is damn good too.
