You must not have been watching Scheyer in big games. And it’s not just my opinion, it’s the opinion of A LOT of Duke alumni.
Scheyer plays too much stall ball. He puckers up, and that’s not a trait that you lose. He will be one of those, he gets scared to death.
Are you one of those “Pope can’t shoot for them” guys? Can’t play defense for them, can’t pass for them, can’t wear their jersey either? Types? Scheyer has ALL the built in advantages and look want he’s wasted lol. What are you talking about?

If you watch Duke much all they do is clear out for Boozer and last year all the did was clear out for Flagg.

Atleast UConn has been as painful to Duke as they have been to us. That is just an insane way to lose.

Literally all Boozer had to do was hold onto the ball and get fouled and it was pretty much over. Couldn't have happened to a better team.

Yea they’re really easy to game plan for, it’s just in that crap ACC they’re too good at those spots to lose much. For Duke with that team to not make a final four as the top seed shows that Scheyer is in over his head. Issue is it’s not noticed because he keeps going pretty deep. In context he’s a C grade coach.
