UConn wins as Duke chokes on their last possession allowing a UConn 3 pointer for the win.Hurley now has three Final Four appearances in last four seasons.I will take that head coaching any day.
The repeated hate Hurley remarks are purely jealousy for how good a coach he is and how envious we are we missed out on him

in sports history most of the most hateable faces and characters were hateable because of how good and successful they are

I would take Hurley in a heartbeat, BUT when he’s not your coach as he is not for all the other programs around the country , he is very, very, very annoying to look at and watch his histrionics and constant (and I mean constant) whining on the sideline. One of the most unlikable coaches. But, I would take him as my coach in a second, then he becomes YOUR guy just like he is for UCONN fans. I want a coach who delivers NCAA appearances and hopeful final four appearances as opposed to one who talks about GPAs and what a great band we have.

Oh i would take him and Hobbs was a buffoon for not giving him 7 years..yet he has a complete hateable face. He got me to root for Duke over Uconn

Well we’ve now established that Rutgers fans would like a coach that delivers multiple final four appearances. Keep dreaming guys.

Duke deserves to lose. Hold the ball. make them foul you.
Who had the possession arrow? Holding the ball creates risk of tie up.

I wonder if the Duke players were aware that they didn't have to get it across half court. I got the feeling that they weren't.

Experience trumps freshmen ability. Saw that in the last 10 minutes. Bottom line it never really should have been a one possession game where some crazy like that can happen

Duke board should be fun tonight

Boozer twins wanted nothing to do with the ball down the stretch. Giant disappearing act. It was like they were begging for people not to pass them the ball.

Exactly- 8 assistant coaches and you wonder if they told them that.

John wooden won 7 straight championships. Hurley is a great coach. When he wins 7 straight championships you can make that statement. Until then no
Danny would have won a ton of chanpionships if he had Jabbar and then Bill Walton at center.

You have one that did that.
Not doing it now, and frankly in this age of NIL it feels like ages ago when he did do it. We’ll see what he can with $10 mil and whether we can get back or not this year. I am hoping so, but Pike looks lost in the woods without a map or compass in today’s landscape.
