I don't disagree with the first part, but Cal quit on UK and was doing his own NBA draft first stuff, because he was mad at the lack of support he was getting from the people and fans that had already made him a God in college basketball.
It had nothing to do with the fans. It had everything to do with the administration. That’s why he said administrations win championships. I would feel the same way though. If we had a competent coach. We don’t. I’d take a lot of coaches over cal. Pope is not one of them.

Pope definitely needs a PR coach. Cal stopped giving a sh*t years ago, so a PR coach would be a waste of money.
Pope has done less. He hasn't done crap with any of the talent that he has had in 11 years of coaching. No conference titles. No elite eights, no final fours, no Finalist, no NCAA championships. His accomplishments in 11 years, his 2 rounds of 64 wins and 1 round of 32. He is terrible!!!
No doubt that Pope has fewer accomplishments. He's literally had no accomplishments as a coach and should never have been even mentioned for this job. My comment was more about Cal squandering elite talent over and over again. Cal has an unparalleled ability to lose to lesser talented teams and blow important games in the last few minutes.
I disagree. Cal has lost some but he has won some too. Pope has never won anything. We need to stop worrying about Cal and throwing shade his way when we currently live in a glass house.
