Notre Dame has been a hot team and nationally number 23. We came in and swept them at their place. That says something very positive about this team.

This team feels special, yall. They were supposed to be built for defense. Lo and behold, they’re scoring a stupid amount of runs and stacking big innings too.
Well… because… we didn’t?
Wasn’t able to watch and saw us down early….flabbergasted to come here and see the final score lol. Cant wait to go back through the thread.
This team reminds me so much of last year’s team, but deeper. Speaks well of Forbes that he can put together a winning formula over and over.
Much, much more potential on offense this year.
Tech swept state and are tied with us now. FSU losing Bailey is going to hurt them. We just have to keep the train rolling.

Agreed, and I’d say we have more potential defensively in the lineup too.
I’ve been trying not to say out loud how much I like the team. Don’t want to jinx it.
The impressive part re:Forbes is how we look the same despite massive roster turnover (if anything better). Same mix of pitching, defense, base running, doing the small things, L/R hitting, and enough power. What I look for most in a coach is a consistent winning identity, and Forbes has it in spades.
Forbes is just an unreal human, which leads to the type of guys we have. Wish we had a little more power, but Jake Schaffner is the best SS in the league and top 5 in the country. Owen Hull and Cooper have been god sends since they both have gotten going.
When Gavin gets going, watch out. He’s way better than a .270 hitter.
Double fabulous endings.. I didn’t see the game today but was doing my part watching the dookie women lose in Sacramento (I was live stats checking throughout the game). Then watched the men lose on the way home in the car while I was in the back seat!
Was supporting my friends daughter who is a student at UCLA, but decided to support in my own special way… not many dookies at the game but the few looks I did see were priceless! Think the shirt helped both season enders, lol!
