Well, he sucks.Nobody?
But probably not "nobody".
There were probably people who thought Bauserman was a decent QB as well.
Well, he sucks.Nobody?
Nor do Colandrea and Taylor Martinez!Dingle is wishcasting because everyone here knows we are going to suck until Preacher Rhule is thrown fat face down in the gutter and it’s bumming him out
Colandrea and Pavia don’t belong in the same sentence
Go back the Clarkeye board don’t forget to wipe your AZZ before you leave. My money is on Latifah.
Can I borrow your hankie?Go back the Clarkeye board don’t forget to wipe your AZZ before you leave.
We know already that you are a Queen.....My money is on Latifah.
Yeah it isn't so much a difficult schedule as an extreme schedule. Five bad teams, the rest could destroy us. I think the type of losses will matter this season. Get our **** shoved in week after week, even with 4 early wins is going to draw some negative attention. If the team shows toughness and fights through a close win and we can get to a bowl it will make a huge difference.I'm expecting a 5 win season. That will likely be enough for us to suffer through another year.
Colandrea lacks a strong arm and decisive decision making in the pass game...most of his yards came on broken plays or roll-outs where he had one route option, normally a TE in single coverage who was wide-open. He is more similar to our old option qbs than DR. His turnovers are HUGE deal for playing in a defensively weak conference. He is going get destroyed once the big 10 schedule opens, even if he stays healthy. Rhule also has no history of developing qbs or squeezing out the best juice, he certainly didn't do that with DR, and his first season might have been one of the worst seasons in NCAA history considering qb play and development. Enjoy the season through September, find something to do on Saturdays the rest of the year and hope for a miracle Michigan-style.Huh @dinglefritz called Colandrea the real deal. Seems evaluations of him are all over the board.
DR’s bigger problem was the fear of running. You don't have to be a huge threat. DR was really, really slow.
Meh. QBs looked like I thought they would. Horrible wind conditions for longer throws. Coleandra showed some really good wheels and very nice touch on 2 sideline throws which resulted in a TD. Huge upgrade from a run threat perspective and I don’t believe we’ll lose much ch in the passing game versus Raiola. TJ’s reads and decisions concern me. Kick I think Kaelin could very well be an upgrade over Raiola.I was surprised by the running back today mostly because I was worried about that spot but how good is our DL. Qbs disappointed me as did the receivers. Liked or kickers today and dbs looked adequate.
Mmmm. Not so fast. The Raiola arm I saw last fall wasn’t any better than Coleandra’s. I’m taking yesterday with a grain of salt wind was gusting to 40 mph.I guess the good lord won’t let us have a arm like Dylan and running ability like Martinez into one
Nah, you’re a huge chicken little who gets left off a lot of party invites for killing the mood wherever you goYou seem to take message board posting too seriously. I give my honest opinions, and I have a very good track record of being right about most things.
Love Coleandra’s run threat. Definitely has Chubba Purdy like wheelsHuh @dinglefritz called Colandrea the real deal. Seems evaluations of him are all over the board.
Zac Lee was the real deal before the throwing shoulder injury. Tom told a friend of mine before that season the Lee was going to be the next Husker QB drafted by the NFL. He never recovered from the arm injury.Wasn’t TJ injured at the end of last year? Not to mention our OL was completely overwhelmed when it came to pass protection. I do know that a lot of people were clamoring for him to get enough NIL so he wouldn’t get poached after his performance in the UCLA game. He looked okay at times yesterday. And I thought Coleandra looked good for the most part. But then again, I thought Zac Lee looked like the real deal in his Spring Game. At the end of the day, no one actually knows crap at this point other than it’s a massive upgrade from Sims, Haarberg and Purdy
We don’t play the Gophers this season.I like the moxy Coleandra has. He likes being here, likes his teammates and has that upbeat outlook. He seems to be a leader. IDK if we saw enough to say he will be the starter for sure but he seems to have the edge right now. He has a loaded WRF room going for him. Now its up to Dana to put it all together. If we can win 6 or 7 next year, given that schedule, in my book thats ok. But you damn well better beat Iowa and or Minnesota.
On the field, Bauserman was nervous as a ***** in church, but damn it he looked the part.I liked Bauserman as a QB![]()
Zac Lee was complete garbage!Zac Lee was the real deal before the throwing shoulder injury. Tom told a friend of mine before that season the Lee was going to be the next Husker QB drafted by the NFL. He never recovered from the arm injury.
The only QB I can remember in my life time that was vehemently booed at Memorial.Zac Lee was complete garbage!
His shoulder had NOTHING to do with his awful decision-making.
Zac Lee’s decision-making and lack of ballsack kept that 2009 team from a BCS bowl at the very least. The only QB I can remember in my life time that was vehemently booed at Memorial.
Let me rephrase. You really thought I meant literally every single poster? Or is it more likely I meant, by far, the majority? You did.
The center also didn't gain any separation against our DB's, but what do I know? The center didn't miss receivers by ten yards against Utah and Penn St.
That's not very nice.Zac Lee’s decision-making and lack of ballsack kept that 2009 team from a BCS bowl at the very least.
He was a botched-abortion every Saturday.
all I remember is the string of Losses..
he did nothing to help the team win or make those around him better.. which is a big part of that position.. you can see Colandrea is already making those around him better, just from his attitude and confidence alone. TJ should redshirt and develop this year imo. We did him no favors marching him out there last season tossing him to the wolves like that.. he wasn't ready then, and isn't now either.Yeah, but I also remember that string of losses not being all on him. Like not even close.
I think it was a bigger fear of getting hit.DR’s bigger problem was the fear of running.
It would be a huge indictment on our staff to bring a QB1 in and pay him and then have him ride the pine. Not saying that isn’t a possibility but it would be huge egg on the face.I like the moxy Coleandra has. He likes being here, likes his teammates and has that upbeat outlook. He seems to be a leader. IDK if we saw enough to say he will be the starter for sure but he seems to have the edge right now. He has a loaded WRF room going for him. Now its up to Dana to put it all together. TJ was injured and the offensive line wasn't good in pass pro but I still blame Dana for not being creative to overcome these problem s. Like I said before, I want Dlyan to still be here, not Dana. I think Dylan acceptably mobile with an NFL arm.Wasn’t TJ injured at the end of last year? Not to mention our OL was completely overwhelmed when it came to pass protection. I do know that a lot of people were clamoring for him to get enough NIL so he wouldn’t get poached after his performance in the UCLA game. He looked okay at times yesterday.
