All we got. We slap out of space. How big are those berms. Doesn’t look like you could fit a whole lot of seats there.
Taog Redloh is right. Not many options. You could look at putting a third deck above the skyboxes but that would be extremely costly. I guess you could build some outfield seats behind the lounge in right and right center. No plans for apartments in those areas that I know of unless that's something they're looking at on down the road.Build seats over the berms, then an upper deck in same area. Not much else we can do.
The bigger issue is that all those seats could be sold as season tickets. So then, zero GA seating. And of course the OF is limited by the spots sold to to LFL.
ETA: Of course, as demand grows, more and more season ticket holders will be motivated to post their tickets on Seat Geek, which will take care of the issue. Average Joe will be able to get a chairback, he'll just have to pay big for it.
I’m sold. You had me at high speed monorail to campus.Time to build a 30K state of the art stadium on the north farm hills area. Have a dedicated exit and 4-lane blvd off #82 bypass for the stadium with boocoo parking lots and RV space. A highspeed monorail connection to campus and the other athletic event areas.
The Berms, Those ARE seats. How big are those berms. Doesn’t look like you could fit a whole lot of seats there.
I like DCD’s drawing and idea about extending the second deck down first and third base lines. Combine that with this idea in right field, build up that area somehow and move the kids area to the green space west of the lofts.Elevated GA decks in the outfield and behind the berms. There has to be some seating for GA besides the berms and SRO.View attachment 1237112
I hope you are somewhat kidding because Dorman is currently shut down for renovation and has been for over a year, a $42 MILLION DOLLAR renovation. For those that have been whining about tearing it down and building another, here's a quote from the arcicle, "When we raze Dorman, use those bricks to rebuild an open air seating behind right field in the parking lot. Hang a big sign on it that says Dorman Dogs and charge $5 admission. Allow food trucks to sell and take a portion of it for nil. I don't know I'm just throwing stuff against the wall and hoping it sticks.
.Probably something in the outfield. Maybe this is a dumb question but what’s the purpose of the big green wall in centerfield? Could we take over that spot and add seats?
Just add seating above the green wall.Probably something in the outfield. Maybe this is a dumb question but what’s the purpose of the big green wall in centerfield? Could we take over that spot and add seats?
IF demand calls for it and we can presale again, see below.![]()

My thoughts exactly and i don't think it would look weird if done correctly. It would probably look weird but you could leave the berms and build a second level/landing slightly behind and above the berms that’s comes off the grandstand. That’s about the only way to cram more in.
excuse my crude drawing

Raise Prices…. Make it a hard and expensive ticketJust leave it alone.
This is almost exactly what I was going to post. You couldn't have seating filling all of those trapezoids since the view from the back corner of the one on the 3rd base side would be blocked by the press box and the other by the indoor portion of the Omaha Club. Maybe have a concession stand or restrooms in those areas. Another plus to adding these is that they'll help add some shade to the berms. The sun can be brutal during late season games.IF demand calls for it and we can presale again, see below.
Leave the lower levels alone.
Extend the upper deck and have it slanted in more.
Possible add some GA seating in the outfield where my orange squares are.
Heck you could add concessions bathrooms and more premium seating. This is almost exactly what I was going to post. I’ve said this since day 1. I think if 20 rows are added to each upper deck have the top 10 GA bleachers and the lower 10 rows chair backs that go on sale on Wednesday for weekend games.IF demand calls for it and we can presale again, see below.
Leave the lower levels alone.
Extend the upper deck and have it slanted in more.
Possibly add some GA seating in the outfield where my orange squares are.

Can we use state funds for NIL?I hope you are somewhat kidding because Dorman is currently shut down for renovation and has been for over a year, a $42 MILLION DOLLAR renovation. And for those whining about what is being spent on baseball, how many football players could that $42MILLION buy if it were available?

Any state fan that thinks re-doing Dorman is more important than the improvement 42M could buy us over a few years is a dub mass of the highest order."And for those whining about what is being spent on baseball, how many football players could that $42MILLION buy if it were available?"
third deck in leftfield would block views from the lofts, so that's not an optionI like DCD’s drawing and idea about extending the second deck down first and third base lines. I don’t know how feasible it is but I can imagine a third deck of left field lounge as well.
That's the "batters eye" and is there so that the hitter can see the baseball out of the pitchers handProbably something in the outfield. Maybe this is a dumb question but what’s the purpose of the big green wall in centerfield? Could we take over that spot and add seats?
Makes sense. I guess we can keep it then and put seats elsewhereThat's the "batters eye" and is there so that the hitter can see the baseball out of the pitchers hand
I say put seats in front of it and make everybody who sits there wear green.Makes sense. I guess we can keep it then and put seats elsewhere
If they look hard enough they might find a portion of the outfield that’s not in front of the lofts.third deck in leftfield would block views from the lofts, so that's not an option
which is designated for additional lofts, would only be possible if they shelved the 2nd set of lofts. If they look hard enough they might find a portion of the outfield that’s not in front of the lofts.
From someone who watched games for 4 years from the grass hill in the "Hard Right Cafe" in years long ago and later for 4 years from the "family" section beside 3rd base, I had much rather add seating by extending the upper deck area. If you're not going to have the ability to grill and such and just there to watch the game, sitting in the outfield isn't the best place to be.If they look hard enough they might find a portion of the outfield that’s not in front of the lofts.
