The legend of Alvaro Folgueiras was shortlived.
The hell it was. Absolute stud. Great Hawk. The reason we were playing tonight. What a ridiculous take. The legend of Alvaro Folgueiras was shortlived.
The coach apparently disagrees. 9 minutes. The hell it was. Absolute stud. Great Hawk. The reason we were playing tonight. What a ridiculous take.
Was wondering about that. The coach apparently disagrees. 9 minutes.
Is your point that his legend is over because he played 9 minutes in a game? Are you spoon fed your dinners by a nurse, per chance? The coach apparently disagrees. 9 minutes.
He was getting abused in the paint on D. Gotta think that’s why he wasn’t out there more tonightyeah, it was odd but I trust in Ben... there must have been a good reason
He had been a difference maker. 2nd leading scorer in the tournament going into the EE.yeah, it was odd but I trust in Ben... there must have been a good reason
Again, did you watch the 9 minutes he played? We know you know more than Jan Jensen so guessing you now probably know more than McCollum? They should put you on the payroll. He had been a difference maker. 2nd leading scorer in the tournament going into the EE.
Strange.
Have you ever had a positive comment about anything? You are a moody SOB. Not the type of person Coach McCollom likes. Please go away. The legend of Alvaro Folgueiras was shortlived.
It's McCollumHave you ever had a positive comment about anything? You are a moody SOB. Not the type of person Coach McCollom likes. Please go away.
Oh, is that what you're going to hang your hat on, loser. I am going to make it a point to hound you when you post. You are not a fan. You are a whiny little *****.It's McCollum
Ahole18269297462682 is simply not Hawkeye material.Oh, is that what you're going to hang your hat on, loser. I am going to make it a point to hound you when you post. You are not a fan. You are a whiny little *****.
You are the moody types Coach McCollum dislikes. I feel the same way.
what the hell is wrong with you? You keep calling people names. I thought fishing calmed people down, guess not.Have you ever had a positive comment about anything? You are a moody SOB. Not the type of person Coach McCollom likes. Please go away.
He was getting abused in the paint on D. Gotta think that’s why he wasn’t out there more tonight
I mean ya, but folgerous was getting pushed under the hoop every single D possession.ummmmm… our entire team was getting abused in the paint.
With all the points Illinois got in the paint he wasn’t the only one getting abused. We needed his offense. He was getting abused in the paint on D. Gotta think that’s why he wasn’t out there more tonight
I agree, you don't play a guy that little that was one of the main reasons you were there. I was STUNNED that he only played 9 minutes. Sorry, who the hell else but Stirtz had a great game? No one (Sage was good, love that kid). Bad call Ben, you needed scorers, every single Hawkeye got abused in the paint, the outscored us 40 to F'ing 12 in the paint. And the guy that only played 9 minutes sure as hell wasn't responsible for that. Folgers was not the problem, but he can score and he didn't have the opportunity. Boo!He had been a difference maker. 2nd leading scorer in the tournament going into the EE.
Strange.
WTF is wrong with you?! Booing a coach who just did something that hadn’t been done in nearly 40 years? Get over yourself.I agree, you don't play a guy that little that was one of the main reasons you were there. I was STUNNED that he only played 9 minutes. He's flawed like we all are. So GFY.WTF is wrong with you?! Booing a coach who just did something that hadn’t been done in nearly 40 years? Get over yourself.
He pulled him twice in the first half, and then he commented directly in the interview with the sideline reporter, (and both comments were about him, even though he didn't say his name). Not boxing out, and then after we finally got a rebound dribbling through multiple defenders and turning the ball over instead of passing it to a guard. Not sure he played again in the game for more then a minute.yeah, it was odd but I trust in Ben... there must have been a good reason
The turnover trying to dribble up the floor against several defenders in the back court was the last straw..He was getting abused in the paint on D. Gotta think that’s why he wasn’t out there more tonight
Unfortunately Banks got swallowed up by their bigs everytime he went to the rim as well. He made it work against the Gators, but not tonight....He was getting abused in the paint on D. Gotta think that’s why he wasn’t out there more tonight.
You are another board aggitator. What the He!! is wrong with you. You are another Hawk whiner. You may be Anon's cousin.what the hell is wrong with you? You keep calling people names. I thought fishing calmed people down, guess not.
It absolutely amazes me the knee-jerk reactions Iowa fans demonstrate on here. The hell it was. Absolute stud. Great Hawk. The reason we were playing tonight. What a ridiculous take.
That’s my guess. He was getting abused in the paint on D. Gotta think that’s why he wasn’t out there more tonight
I suggest watching his 9 minutes. Maybe he wasnt in the right defensive positions, maybe he wasnt blocking out, etc. I am going to rewatch it closely. He flamed out early tonight.
What happened?
Damn!
You nailed it. It's a snark b!tch troll.Have you ever had a positive comment about anything? You are a moody SOB. Not the type of person Coach McCollom likes. Please go away.
Did "we" need his turnovers? He was on pace for 9 last night. That offsets his pts if he could hit anything or wasn't afraid to shoot. With all the points Illinois got in the paint he wasn’t the only one getting abused. We needed his offense.
He left his offense in the hotel room last night. He does that way to much this season. With all the points Illinois got in the paint he wasn’t the only one getting abused. We needed his offense.

BM .. He played the guys that were "ready to go"He pulled him twice in the first half, and then he commented directly in the interview with the sideline reporter, (and both comments were about him, even though he didn't say his name). Not boxing out, and then after we finally got a rebound dribbling through multiple defenders and turning the ball over instead of passing it to a guard. I can't believe you watched the game and need this explained to you. You are the "flawed" one for sure. He's flawed like we all are. So GFY.
Al was on fire this tournament, and he played 9 F'ing minutes in this game. Unbelievable. Maybe you noticed, we scored 59 points. Think maybe we could have used another scorer who just happens to be on fire recently? Yeah, me too.
We got ABUSED in the paint and he was on the bench. Think that's an Al problem? Yeah, me neither, but he can score and nobody who took his place did. Comprende'?
I know, I was trolling.I suggest watching his 9 minutes. Maybe he wasnt in the right defensive positions, maybe he wasnt blocking out, etc. I am going to rewatch it closely.
I am curious also. I would and could not ever 2nd guess such a great coach but maybe we needed AL in there more to score and hit treys to counteract Illinois' offensive rebounding.
He flamed out early tonight.
What happened?
Damn!
